Women suffer from depression at a rate that is nearly twice as high as men. Some of the reasons which contribute to this are domestic violence directed at women, being at a financial disadvantage to men and being the primary caretaker of other family members at the expense of taking care of herself. To be emotionally stable, women need to take time for themselves and commit to their own health as much as other people's.
