Yes, you can still issue a 1099 to an employee for the previous tax year if you forgot to do so. However, it's important to ensure that the form is completed accurately and sent to the recipient as well as the IRS. You may also need to file a corrected return if the original deadline has passed. It's advisable to consult with a tax professional to ensure compliance with IRS regulations.
In the USPS by last day of January, + a day for Sunday & holidays if applicable.
1099's should be out by Janaury 31st, however the payer or the person who is sending the 1099's out has until Feb 28th to report the information to the IRS without a penalty, this means that the payers may send out 1099's late until Feb 28.
The last day to receive a 1099 form from a payer is typically January 31 of the year following the tax year in which the income was earned. For example, for income earned in 2023, you should receive your 1099 by January 31, 2024. If that date falls on a weekend or holiday, the deadline may be adjusted. Always check for any specific state or local rules that might apply.
A former employee can obtain their last pay stub from Dollar General by contacting the company's Human Resources department or payroll department directly. They can provide their personal information for verification and request a copy of the pay stub. Additionally, if the employee had access to the employee portal while employed, they may be able to log in and download the pay stub from there.
Rapid refund and such are done by private companies and are fancy names for very expensive loans. If your paid on a 1099, you were required to make estimated tax payments through the year, and if you overpaid on those, and therefore have a refund coming, I suspect they would give you that loan. But if that's the case, as the last payment was due 12/15, you should have sent less...not sent a lot and then borrowed money at a huge charge waiting to file a return and get it back.
I don't see how - as a 1099 worker you were self-employed. Unless you paid into the state unemployment fund, you weren't covered by unemployment insurance. Actually, even if you paid into the fund, as a self employed you wouldn't qualify. However, If you qualified for it by previous "employee" employment - from prior to this 3 years, you probably are still able to. But on the self employment (1099 income) alone, no.

I have forgot /forgotten are both correct. The latter is more formally used. I forgot to do the laundry last night. - forgot is used as simple past, ok I may have /forgot forgotten a lot of Chinese in written form, but when I see them I still recognize their meanings. Both forgot and Forgotten can be used as past participle. so, forgot >> simple past forgotten >> past participle
When they send you the 1099 for your winnings last year it will be listed on that form.
