As of now, many taxpayers typically start receiving their tax returns in the weeks following their submission, with some getting refunds as early as mid-February. However, the timing can vary based on individual circumstances, such as filing method and any complications with the return. To get the most accurate information, individuals should check the status of their tax return through the IRS website or their tax preparation service.
As of September 2014, the date for Kentucky to start accepting 2015 tax returns has not yet been announced. Tax returns are often accepted near the end of January.
Suspect you mean send out in "refunds". 2009 isn't done yet...returns for that tax year won't even be due until 2010. None of the info for 2009 are done or calculated yet. Probably 2008 isn't finsihed yet either.
Federal income tax returns need to be filed by April 15. Most state tax returns also need to be filed by April 15 with a few exceptions. If you have not yet filed your tax return for 2008 or an earlier years, just do it now even though it's late. If any penalty applies, it will only get worse the longer you wait.
Tax is charged on that amount which is actually received by the company so if the amount is received but it is not yet earned then it will be taxed although accounting tax will not be charged and due to that reason we have deferred taxation concepts to dealt with these kinds of situations.
For a couple of reasons. 1. If you have allowed the government to use your money interest-free from the day you overpaid your taxes, you continue to lose the value of that money for each day you have not yet received it. 2. There are people who file bogus tax returns in your name, making claims for refunds that you will never see, costing billions of dollars every year, and making it very difficult for you to obtain a timely refund.

The status "accepted" by TurboTax means that your tax return has been successfully received by the IRS and is ready for processing. The status "received" by the IRS simply confirms that they have received your tax return but does not indicate whether it has been processed or approved yet.
