Ownership after 30 days typically depends on the context and local laws. For example, in some rental agreements, if a tenant remains in a property for 30 days without a formal lease, they might gain certain tenant rights. In other situations, such as with unclaimed property laws, ownership can vary. It's important to refer to specific legal guidelines or agreements to determine ownership status.
These have to do with payments. On 30 days you have that long to pay the payment after you receive the bill. With net 30 days you have 30 days since you purchased the item to pay it off.

In many jurisdictions, if an item is left at your house for more than 30 days, it does not automatically become yours. The specific laws regarding abandoned property can vary by location, and often involve notifying the owner and allowing them a chance to reclaim their property. It’s essential to check local laws regarding abandoned or unclaimed property to understand your rights and responsibilities.

ANSWER by Engl1sh: Well it depends on your morals as to what you will do. If it's something that belongs to someone else (i.e. money/jewelry), you should take it directly to a police station so they can process it and hopefully find the true owner. The real owner has a limitted amount of time though (about 30 days I believe) to claim the lost item, and if it remains unclaimed for an entire month it goes directly to the finder. The police will not keep it from you after the 30 days go by with no one claiming ownership. Hope this helps!
