How do you transfer money from Us to UK?

You can use Wire Transfer. To do it you need:

• Full Name of the person to whom you want to transfer money
• Bank Name
• Bank Account Number
• Routing Number
• Amount to Transfer

If you have all these information, the wire transfer would be done by your bank and money would reach the person to whom you want to send. This usually happens in 1 business day.

Note: Your bank would definitely charge you for providing this services. It may vary from bank to bank and also based on the type of relationship you have with them.

Contact a currency broker, they have accounts in all major currencies, so you could send the dollars to their dollar account and they will then convert the dollars into sterling for you at much better rates than the banks.
