Mary and Joseph would have been subject to various taxes under Roman rule during their time. This included a head tax, known as the census tax, which required individuals to pay a fee based on their status and wealth. Additionally, they would have paid land taxes and possibly temple taxes, which were used for religious purposes. These taxes were often burdensome for the lower classes, including families like theirs.
I have my property tax number. The tax bills were scheduled to go out the week of July 31, 2008. I have not received mine and would like to know how to find the information on line.
People who are self-employed have to pay taxes on their income just like people who are employed by a company. They also have to pay a "self-employment tax" that basically makes up for the fact that they haven't been paying FICA taxes.
Yes, Andrew Carnegie did pay taxes. As a wealthy industrialist and business magnate in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Carnegie would have been subject to various taxes, including income taxes, property taxes, and potentially others depending on the specific tax laws of the time and his financial activities. While he was known for his philanthropy and efforts to give away much of his wealth, he would still have been required to pay taxes on his income and assets.
No, property taxes are not taken out of EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization). EBITDA focuses on a company's operational performance by excluding interest, taxes, and non-cash expenses like depreciation and amortization. Therefore, property taxes, which are considered an operating expense, would typically be factored into net income but not into EBITDA calculations.
I AM WAITING FOR AN ANSWER.
I would like to know this same thing.
Yes, definitely, Germany does have taxes. Just like in the US you have to pay your annual taxes. The only real difference is that the taxes when you purchase "stuff" is included in the price. I personally find this system of tax paying to be satisfying.
$$$$$$ less taxes for them to pay
Revenue stamps show that the appropriate taxes have been properly paid. They can be affixed to legal documents, such as deeds and registrations, as well as products such as alcohol and cigarettes to show the taxes have been paid.
in some states, books are taxed. for example, in Rhode Island, books are taxed 7%. but in other states like new hapshire, there is no taxes on anything so books wouldn't be taxed. every state has differant rates, so where ever you live, find out what the taxes are on food and that would be the taxes on the books.
Nobody like taxes or having to pay them. Except maybe the people in Washington. The best software to file your 2012 taxes can be found online at Turbo Tax.
I was wondering this as well. I haven't been able to find them, although I would like very much to find them.

No. In fact, as the taxes pay for the things, like infrastructre, police, science, etc. etc., that are the only ways these things can be provided....the opposite assumption would be much more true. That is, taxes used by a government provide freedom to the people. You would note that communist countries and those in social/economic upheaval with human dispair and misery, (the worst of the African continent for example), would be where you find no taxation.
They would like to lower taxes and not spend on war affairs -Bailey
