There are actually two Blue Cards from Amex so it really depends on which one you are asking about. Blue Cash or Blue from American Express. Blue Cash gives 0% interest for up to 12 months and up to 5% cash back on select purchases. Blue from American Express gives 0% interest on purchases for up to 12 months and 2.99% balance transfers. Personally, I do not think either card is that great because in the case of Blue Cash the rewards are restricted to select products and with Blue from American Express, you can find cards that offer 0% balance transfers, so why go for 2.99%? All I can say is just be careful of American Express cards as they might seem good on the surface but there are almost always better offers out there.
