most flights do have small print that says "no use of smokeless tobacco" but they can not stop you from doing it. its not a security violation to have it in your carryon or your pocket. The problem is, what are you going to spit in. You cant carry a water bottle on to the plane. So, wait until they pass out the drinks, and then spit in that. Then Please go to the restroom and wash it out before giving it back to the stewardess
