Can you take straighteners on a plane?

yes, hair straighteners and other beauty appliances such as curling irons and blow dryers are fine. they may ask you to take them out so they can individually inspect or x-ray them but you shouldn't have a problem.

There is no TSA against it...... but you at the mercy of a minimum wage worker with a little power. Not a good combo. The best bet is to call the airlines and ask if they think it would be a problem, get a name of the person you talk to and note the time and date of the call. That way if there is a major issue you have some leverage. Unfortunatly we live in a day that people have been manhandled over baby formula by security screeners.

You could only take this product in your carry-on if it's three ounces or less by volume AND it's in a clear plastic, zip-loc style bag. Many, but not all, airports provide these plastic bags prior to going through security.

Yes you can bring a hair straightener in carry on I've done it before and nothing has happened it does NOT have to be 3 ounces or less

The short answer is: yes. The long: there is no reason why a small electrical appliance would not be allowed in carry-on baggage, provided it does not have any sharp blades. If, however, it is a small, portable straightener, that may have a butane container providing the heat, then the answer would be no. Flammable liquids are not allowed in carry-on baggage.

Airways can refuse you to take any electronic items on board, without explanation if they cannot identify it or they are suspicious. If the item is readily identifiable (A branded and common, not home made) then it will more than likely be accepted.

Yes you can and it will save you room in your suit case .i took mine on my suitcase but then i realised when i got to the airport that you could .cameras aswell you can ..x
