The time it takes to complete a linocut can vary widely depending on the complexity of the design and the artist's experience. Generally, the entire process—from sketching the design, carving the linoleum, to printing—can range from a few hours to several days. Simple designs may take just a few hours, while intricate pieces can require multiple sessions over several days. Preparation and cleanup time should also be considered in the overall timeframe.
To create a linocut print, first, draw your design on a linoleum block. Then, carve out the negative space using linocut tools. Apply ink to the block and press it onto paper to transfer the design. Repeat this process for multiple prints.
To learn linocut block printing, you can start by gathering the necessary materials like linoleum blocks, carving tools, ink, and paper. Next, practice carving designs on the linoleum block and experiment with different techniques. Take online tutorials or classes, study books on linocut printing, and seek guidance from experienced artists. Practice regularly to improve your skills and develop your own unique style.
David Paragol is a painter. A linocut by him was recently sold in Australia.

I have no idea. sorry.
Linocut was invented by one of a group of four artists called die Brücke, though I have been unable to find out which, if that is even known. These artists were four German Expressionists, and they developed linocut during the period after 1905. Their names were Fritz Bleyl, Erich Heckel, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, and Karl Schmidt-Rottluff.
