What are the Charges for excess baggage?

This applies usually to weight of the single luggage item, but can also apply to special size luggage like surfboard or instruments.

Each airline has different charge for second piece of luggage. Some of them don't publish the fact that they charge for first item as well since they don't want the selling agent to make extra profit and they don't want passenger to deter from buying tickets.

Each airline has its own price list and it is usually if your single luggage exceeds certain weight (for example 20 pounds).

Some airlines allow only one extra luggage 9besides your hand luggage). That means if you take second one they will charge you excess charge.
