the buildings in new york are extremely high compared to the ones in dublin, all are under 7 storeys or so by planning laws, so has a much less intimidating skyline. New York is a much bigger area than Dublin and 19 times the population. One similarity is the River Liffey runs through Dublin, whereas the river Hudson runds through new york.
