Mexicana de aviacion is currently suspended due to budget loses and lack of funding. Mexicana have suspended all flights and their website is down. All staff at Mexicana have been made redundant until further notice. I suggest flying alternatively on Aeromexico, Interjet, Aeromar or Viva Aerobus, Hope this helped, :D
United, American and Mexicana
One of the main Mexican airlines is Aeromexico, a large company from 1934 who inaugurated the maiden flight to Mexico City. Another airline is Mexicana which was founded in 1921, and the oldest of mexican airlines.
Mexicana Airline no longer takes passengers to any destinations, the airline ceased operations in 2010. Previously, it was Mexico's oldest continuously operating airline and served North and South America, Central America, the Caribbean and Europe.
The two largest national airlines include Mexicana and Aeromexico. The later is part of the Star Alliance, having international flights to destinations in Canada, the US and Europe. Other smaller, cheap airlines for intra-regional travel include:VolarisClickInterjetMagnichartersAeroCaribeAeroLitoral
There are many airlines that offer direct flights to Chicago. Many of these airlines include American Airlines, Copa, and Spirit. Depending on where the person wanting to directly fly to Chicago is at, depends on which airline to choose.
