Not quite sure what you're looking for here, but generally, when an airplane stops going up...the houses get bigger.

If you mean the airplane is flying with its nose pointed almost vertical----then most aircraft will eventually lose its speed and stall. Only a few exceptional aircraft have enough power to continue flying vertically. However, if you think about it, even they will fly so high that there will not be enough atmosphere and the engines will flame-out and he will fall.
