* Airport time, increased. * Airport security, increased. * Airport volume, increased. * Airort courtesy, decreased. * Airport decorum, decreased. * Aircraft speeds, increased. * Aircraft staff courtesy decreased. * Aircraft cleanliness and amenities decreased. * Aircraft noise level improved. * Aircraft safety has improved. * Flying was once an exhilerating experience, people were courteous, even kind to each other, in-flight service was impeccable, in-flight dining was edible. Airports were special places featuring first-class resturants that provided fine dining, baggage was never lost, Sky-caps were courteous and helpful, bathrooms were clean and functional, lines existed at counters once in a while, but were quickly cleared. Drunks were almost unheard of. Delayed flights were rare and a cancelled at a major airport was almost unheard of. The rich and privileged were treated much like the casual flyer and that phenomenon alone may have altered air travel forever. Wealth and class, private aircraft, and the gigantic air freight industry has altered air travel forever. And all of that happened at the same time that terrorism became a major factor.

The primary difference between mechanical and electromagnetic waves is how they travel. Mechanical waves require a medium, such as air or water, to propagate, while electromagnetic waves can travel through a vacuum, like in space.

What happens to the path of waves when they travel from air to water?

When waves travel from air to water, they change direction and speed due to the difference in density between the two mediums. This causes the waves to bend or refract as they enter the water.
