Aviation turbine fuel.
Gasoline(petrol) is used in small piston engined aircraft and different forms of kerosene are used in jets.
buggered if I know
Airplanes use a fuel called kerosene.
White petrol or jetfuel is used. Most jets use JP-1 a type of kerosene for fuel.
Piston-engined airplanes run on avgas, which is very similar to automotive gasoline, but higher octane. Turbine-engined airplanes like jets, turboprops and many helicopters run on jet fuel. Jet fuel is very similar to kerosene or diesel fuel, but is highly filtered and usually contains additives to prevent formation of water-ice crystals in the fuel system.
Small, general aviation type airplanes use avgas (aviation gasoline) which is very similar to automobile fuel. Large jet engines mostly use Jet-A fuel, which is a real nasty substance with a very high octane rating. Military fighter jets mostly use JP4 fuel which is similar to Jet-A but even more combustable.
Before World War 1, airplanes were used for recreation. However, during World War 1 airplanes were used for reconnaissance and spying on the enemies. Airplanes were also used as fighter jets and as bombers. Airplanes changed warfare greatly and allowed for blitz attacks and air warfare.
Airplane engines use jet fuel. Read more, below.
Cars, airplanes, trains, some buses, shuttles (occasionaly) jets, highchairs, rollercoasters, and anything else you can think of :)
None.
coal can be used to replace jet fuel and commercial jets.
Airplanes have a unique engine that can only run on a certain fuel and if you put it in your car it wouldn't be able to burn it. :)
