When Amelia bought her first plane it was called the CANARY
a Kinner canary
Amelia's first aircraft was a yellow Kinner Airster that she nicknamed 'Canary"
Yes, when she had her plane she wanted something special about so she wrote canary on the side so people would know it was hers.
The canary
Amelia never built a plane.
The public did not care about Amelia Earhart's plane they reacted to Amelia herself missing.
Well, isn't that just a delightful question! Amelia Earhart named her first plane "Canary" because it was painted bright yellow, like the cheerful little bird. She wanted her plane to stand out and be easily recognizable as she soared through the skies, just like a canary's song brightens up the world. How lovely it is to find inspiration in nature's beauty!
