The first ever powered plane flight took place in 1903, using the original Wright Flyer. Exactly 100 years after the stunt, on December 17th, someone flew a replica of the Wright Flyer in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. It is said that some 25,000 spectators gathered to watch.
The first powered flight was in a plane designed by the Wright Brother's, who called it the Wright Flyer.
First powered flight in Australia was by Harry Houdini in 1910.
The Wright Brothers attained the first powered flight.
They were the first to produce powered flight that was able to carry a human. They are often credited with the invention of powered flight but this was invented by John Stringfellow of Chard, Somerset, England, who produced a steam powered, heavier-than-air plane (yes - steam powered!) a prototype of which he flew for the public at Crystal Palace, London in 1868. The Wright brothers produced the first plane able to carry a human making their first flight on 17th December 1903, 25 years later than Stringfellow. They were also the first to make the controls for a plane that would make such a flight possible. Their initial flight was shorter than the current wingspan of a Jumbo Jet Boeing 747.
The first powered flight lasted for 12 seconds.
The Wright brothers first powered aircraft that achieved heavier than air flight was called the "Flyer." There is some dispute over whether or not this is true since the brothers used techniques such as a headwind and a catapult which some believe disqualified this as a true powered flight.

The first real plane is widely considered to be the Wright Flyer, designed and built by Orville and Wilbur Wright. It made its first powered flight on December 17, 1903, at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, achieving a distance of 120 feet in 12 seconds. This landmark event marked the beginning of the era of controlled, powered flight, establishing the foundation for modern aviation.
yes they did invent the first powered planes
The flyer
Orville Wright was at the helm for the first flight of the Wright Flyer, which is widely regarded as the first true airplane. This happened on December 17th 1903.
The first powered flight happened on December 17, 1903. It happened at Kitty Hawk. It is in the state of North Carolina.
