Well, an A300 is very Wide. The A300 is a Wide aircraft with tiny winglets. The 757 either has no winglets or huge winglets. So the A300 would be bigger. A300 owns airliners like American Airlines or Delta or even the Fedex airplane. A 757 and 767 and 777 all mix together. The 757 owns like Continental or Delta and the U.P.S. The 767 uses like United Or AirTran. The 777 goes about 650-700 m.p.h. They use American, Delta, Almost every airline you can think of.

How long is 1542 miles on a plane to Mexico?

It depends on the model of your plane you are riding. A modern Boeing or Airbus would take you there in three to four hours.

What type of aircraft is used to fly from London to New York?

It would depend entirely on the Airline you are using. However, nearly all of them will use one of five types, so I will list them for you: Airbus A330 Airbus A340 Boeing 747 Boeing 767 Boeing 777 These are all widebody aircraft; there IS a British Airways service that uses a small aircraft (Airbus A318) from London City, for business class only with about 35 seats. Charter airlines might use older aircraft, but apart from the chance of an Airbus A300 or Boeing 757 substituting for a broken-down plane, they will also be from the five main types above.

Will JetBlue ever get larger jets like the Airbus A330 A340 or the Boeing 777?

What is the largest plane in the plane in the word?

I think it is the Antonov An-225 which is a cargo plane. If you are asking the largest passenger plane in the world, it would be the Airbus A380.

Can a plane be running without anyone in it?

yes it can a millitery spy planes are often unmanned and are controled from the ground and manofactors like boeing and airbus could develope these technolgys but would probably not fly commercial services with no pilots just encase anything went wrong

Are Airbus planning a bigger plane than the A380?

The next new aircraft from Airbus is the mid-sized A350, comparable in size to Boeing 777/787. There are, however, plans to produce a slightly larger A380-900 variant of the A380 which would be about 18 ft longer than the current -800, boosting the seating capacity to 650 in standard 3-class configuration and 900 in all economy (compared to 525/843 for the -800). First deliveries of this stretched version are not expected until 2015 at the earliest.

What do you call a large passenger plane?

Original Answer: Airbus 380 I Would Say: Airliner / Jet Airliner

What does production aircraft mean?

producton aircraft would be something like a boeing, airbus, or even an f16 these are aircraft that are factory produced and sold to large companies.

What is the best air plane?

That would depend on the specification. For example, in a war you're not going to want a Boeing 787, you want a fighter plane (e.g the lockheed martin f35 raptor II) but the opposite would be the case in an airline where you need to carry passengers efficiently which is where the Boeing 787 excels but the F35 raptor fails.

How much does a Boeing plane costs?

That would depend on the model and new or used (and how old it was if used). A new 747 costs about $250 million.

Which are the best airliners in the world?

Ive flown both airbus and Boeing in the past 25 years of my career so I can onl judge those two makes The best I have personally ever flown is without a doubt the Airbus A330, It is the easiest to fly and the most powerfull As with a Boeing 767 ( an aircraft of equal size) you can spend about 20 mins climbing to an altidude of 30,000ft where as with an airbus you can use only about 60% throttle and climb that altitude even quicker. Airbus also use very sophisticated onboard computers to stop the aircraft from exeeding its limitations (However these can be switched of for airshow demonstrations incorperating very steep climbs and turns) As far as comfort is concerned Airbus beats Boeing again, However as a pilot flies both of these aircraft more and more, He notices a certain thing which an Airbus will never have as much of as Boeing.......ALL Boeings have Character which makes them feel like a real Pilots aircraft. :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is only my personal opinion, but I believe that Boeing beats Airbus hands down. I can understand why some might prefer Airbus for performance reasons, but to me, they are WAY to complicated and WAY too technological. They rely too much on computers and other technologies. Boeing aircraft are simpler and actually require a pilot to use his or her head. Not to be taken offensively by any Airbus fans, but I see the pilot of an Airbus being more of a computer operator than a pilot. I also think that Douglas and McDonnell Douglas made some very nice aircraft such as the DC-9 and the MD-80. I was very disappointed when Boeing discontinued the DC-9 family in 1997. I'm DEFINITELY not a big fan of technology or performance. I like the old airliners that can be considered real planes. The ones that you have to be a real "pilot" to fly.... The airliners that ROAR over your head and shake the ground as they take off. Like the DC-9, MD-80, 727 etc... Not these modern ones that sound like nothing more than a light whistle. But if you are asking what the greatest airliner of all time is, I would definitely have to say that title goes to the Boeing 727. Nothing can compare to the old 727s. Again, this is simply my personal opinion. ;]
