If the power window in a 2002 Avalanche is not functioning, the issue could stem from a faulty window motor, a blown fuse, or a problem with the window switch itself. Additionally, there may be wiring issues or a jammed window mechanism. To diagnose the problem, check the fuse related to the power windows and test the switch for continuity. If those components are functioning, the motor or regulator may need replacement.
if someone gives you an answer like hippopimous its wrong
there is something wrong with your switch in the door you may have to change it
cANNOT GET THE DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW UP, IT IS PARTWAY DOWN AND HAVE TRIED SPRAYING CLEANER IN IT, NO GO. WHAT DO I DO? The switch, or relay, for that window is faulty, or worn out (since drivers window is most used). Replace it.
Your switch could be worn out you would have to replace the rocker to the switch or replace the whole window switch console.
Try a new switch or just clean the contacts on it
Depends on wats wrong with it if it doesnt go down or up it may be the window motor or the window regulator. If it goes down but its hard for it to go up you should check if the rubber corridor is crooked or it just needs sum lubricant like 3m silicone paste
window regulator
Yes
I got the same problem, when the window goes up and down, see if the window tilt a little bit, if it, then should be the windows regulator that is bent, that's why the motor is forcing it, replace it and that is it.
Avalanche.
A blown power window fuse is the most common reason for the power windows not to go down. The fuse can be found in the fuse box. The location of the fuse can be found on the inside cover of the fuse box.
Check the regulator cable that runs in a sleeve (like a finger in a glove. Its part of the window assy inside each door. it is the window switch most of the time, take the door pannel off and eather swap the wires or jumper power and the window will go up and then replace the switch
