The 67 to 72 Chevy trucks are possibly the best looking and most dependable that GM has ever built. Engine swaps are a breeze, utilizing everything from a 6 cylinder to a 454 to mountain crate motors. There were a wide range of options available that will interchange back to 67. Almost all Chevy transmissions will interchange with a minimum of sweat. An endless list of aftermarket wheels are available, as well some very attractive factory wheels. Everything you could want in the way of restoration parts are readily available from numerous suppliers and from GM. I am the 2nd owner of a 67 CST 3/4 ton and have been for almost 20 years. I would venture to say, this is the most trouble free vehicle I have ever owned. It doesn't owe me a dime! Jay Steelman
No a 1972 Chevy pickup is not the same model as a 1973 Chevy pickup. I believe it goes from 1967-1972, 1973-1980, 1981-1987. Doors will work from 1973-1976, 1977-1987. You would need to find 1972 doors as they are the only ones taht will fit a 1972. 1967-1971 are the same but there is something different about 1972 doors.
YES you do.
