Carb.? Float sticking? Rebuild or replace
Did you manually clear the codes ?
is it running out of fuel?
I would say that the timing is off, if it has distributor and not coil packs try to turn the distibutor some.
The coil might be bad ,,like it was in mine
Stalling when stopping can be a sign of a bad lock-up torque converter solenoid. But if it stalls while in park, it may also be a very bad vacuum leak, especially if it idles rough. I am assuming it has good plugs and plug wires.
If white smoke is coming out of the exhaust when the engine is warmed up , it sounds like engine coolant is getting into an engine cylinder
The most common reason for a vehicle to run rough when it is cold is bad spark plugs or bad spark plug wires. Change the spark plugs and spark plug wires.
crankshaft sensor going.
Perhaps you have a leak in your transmission. Check the transmission fluid while the car is running. DO NOT check any other fluids while the engine is running.

Get a code reader to find out what computer codes are showing. You can buy them for under $50.00 or borrow/rent them from some of the auto parts stores around. *It sounds like a bad EGR valve, have it checked,Good Luck!
