If the information I found is correct, the '91 F250 diesel holds 4.3 to 5.3 gallons of fluid... You are suppose to use the DIESEL type antifreeze/coolant, found at "truck-stops" due to the "calcification" that can build up inside the engine... Using regular AF/C "will" work, but only to keep the engine running...
The proper AF/C only needs to be changed once every 50,000 miles or 8-years, whichever comes first... If using it for towing or heavy loads, it may be advisable to change it more often...
I also have this type of vehicle, and found out this week, the previous owner only had water in the radiator, which may explain why it's so hard to start in the cold, 45 degrees or less...
