1995 Oldsmobile achieva Power window will not work When you press the button the motor makes a noise but window will not move How can I fix this Does it need a new motor?
It sounds like the mounting bolt has pulled through. If you hear the motor, you will only have to remount the motor. Take the door apart and find a large washer to put on the bolt to keep it from pulling through the motor mount. I have had to do this on 2 of my windows so far.
