Code P0441 means that the evaprative system is not flowing when it should be purging the gas fumes from the carbon canister. Several possibilities for the problem exist. Look for the obvious such as a broken or missing vacuum line or if it is electrically opperated look for a deffective servo on the carbon canister etc.
It requires a scanner to properly diagnosis a check engine light.

The check engine light on a Chevrolet Colorado can be rest by connecting an OBD II code reader to the vehicle's computer . Each of the codes can then be reset which will turn the associated light off.
Check the gauges. One or more of the gauges must be out of normal range to trip the "check gauges" light.
There are many sensors that can trip the check engine light to come on.
A vacuum leak, a bad injector and if the check engine light is on, check the codes.
After repairing the cause of the code, you clear the code with a scan tool.
You will have to take the dash apart and replace the bulb.
After repair, you reset with a scan tool.
