It's on the passengers side of the radiator, at the bottom (of course) on the engine side. Mine has a short length of hose attached to drain it with.
Is there not a drain petcock on the bottom of the radiator?
It is on the lower driver side of the radiator.
On bottom corner of radiator, facing engine and on driver side.
There is not one you have to remove the lower rad hose to drain.I know because I have one.
you have to drain the antifreeze/coolant so it would be wise.
In a 1996 Oldsmobile 98, the radiator drain is located at the bottom of the radiator on the driver's side. It typically features a plastic or metal petcock that can be turned to allow coolant to drain out. To access it, you may need to lift the vehicle for better visibility. Always ensure the engine is cool before attempting to drain the radiator to avoid burns.
on the side of the radiator
With the petcock on the bottom passenger side of the radiator. Or for a faster but messier way take the lower rad hose off where it joins to the rad.
Standing in the front of the truck, It will be on the inside of the bottom right corner of the radiator.
There should be a drain on the bottom of the radiator somewhere. If you cannot find one, then remove the lower radiator hose and drain the coolant form that location.
drain is on the lower side of the radiator opposite of the fill neck. You will need to remove the splash shield from underneath the car to view the petcock. check out www.pontiacbonnevilleclub.com for more info.
