high pressure fuel pump is mounted on the frame on the drivers side. low pressure is in the fuel tank
that would be the injection pump lift pump. the high pressure oil pump is also in that area
you should have 2pumps, a low pressure in the tnk and a high pressure in the line.
ICP= injection control pressure, it senses the high pressure oil and reports it to the computer to determine fuel control. It is located on the back center of the valley of the engine on the high pressure pump cover.
On a 1996 Ford F250 7.3L diesel, the ICP (Injection Control Pressure) sensor is located on the driver's side of the engine, near the high-pressure oil pump. It is typically found on the top of the engine, near the valve cover, and is attached to the oil rail. To access it, you may need to remove some components for better visibility and reach.
It pumps fuel at a higher pressure than a standard fuel pump.
Trying to find out if there is a high or low press. pump in the tank or if there is a pump on the frame rail. and wht the fuel press. should be? From 1992-1996 there are on a high pressure pump in the fuel tanks only..
check the oil level in the hpop.
The 1996 850 doesn't have a high pressure port. Recharging is done through to low pressure side.
High
the high pressure oil pump
