To recharge the air conditioner on a 2000 Dodge Intrepid, first, locate the low-pressure service port, usually found on the larger diameter aluminum line between the compressor and the evaporator. Attach a refrigerant recharge kit to the port, following the manufacturer's instructions. With the engine running and the A/C set to maximum, slowly add refrigerant until the appropriate pressure is reached, checking with a gauge if available. Be cautious not to overcharge, as this can damage the system.
To recharge the air conditioning system on a 2000 Mazda Miata, first locate the low-pressure service port, which is typically found on the larger of the two refrigerant lines. Connect a compatible A/C recharge kit to this port, ensuring the can is upright. Start the engine and turn the A/C to the maximum setting, then slowly release the refrigerant into the system while monitoring the pressure gauge on the kit. Once the recommended pressure is reached, disconnect the kit and check for proper A/C function.
The recharge is located right beside the radiator cap. There should be a green Cap on and it should be labeled AC recharge.
The 2000 Acura air conditioner low pressure service port can be found on the top of the air conditioner compressor. The low pressure service port will have a blue top.
The air conditioner recharge port on a 2000 GMC Savana van is typically located on the low-pressure side of the AC system. To find it, look for a service port on the larger AC line, usually near the compressor or near the firewall on the passenger side of the engine compartment. The port is usually capped with a plastic cover and may be labeled with "L" for low pressure. Make sure to use the correct refrigerant type as specified in the vehicle’s owner manual.
The recharge port is located on the passenger side near the firewall.
