There is no cabin filter on a 2003 model. It was discontinued after 2002 model year.
IT IS LOCATED BEHIND THE GLOVE BOX (GLOVE BOX MUST BE REMOVED). The 2003 Sliverado does not have a cabin filter, you can take the truck down to the frame and you won't find it. The car parts still list one for the 2003 but when you look at the size of it and then look under the dash it is apparent there is not cabin filter space. The filter is a big as the air filter. Also, the 2003 Silverado owners manual does not list a cabin filter. Hope this helps.
Looks like in 2003 and newer Tahoe, Suburban, Silverado, and Avalanche vehicles, they no longer have an in cabin air filter.
