That is called TORQUE CONVERTER SHUDDER, More then likely the converter is heating up and getting to hot.
Is the truck under warrenty ?? I would push the dealer real hard if it is.
Sounds like they don't want to warrenty it.
my drive and 3rd not working what is causing this promblem is their a a promblem with the transmission
when mine had this prblem the planetary gear blew apart.
Seismic shifting is the shifting of the earth's crustal plates, causing seismic activity.
No, the only way would be if the belt wasn't driving the alternator causing low voltages to the electronic transmission.
Is the bent derailleur hanger on your bike causing problems with shifting or alignment?
If the transmission modulator valve is vacuum operated and it goes bad it can allow the engine to suck transmission fluid thru the engine causing the engine to blow blue smoke out the exhaust.
A harsh shift on a transmission is when the driver of a vehicle can hear or feel the gearbox shifting. Sometimes the gearbox will lock and not shift causing the rev limiter to reach the red line. When it finally shifts the car will shake and jolt forward.
Check all front end components for wear. Then check the engine and transmission mounts as the engine could be shifting and causing the shake.
If you have a manual transmission, a worn out or defective clutch could cause it to not shift. There could also be internal damage to the transmission, causing the gears to not mesh together and slip. The shift linkage may also be loose, and preventing the transmission from shifting. If you have an automatic transmission, low or burn fluid can cause it to slip in gear or not shift at all. The transmission uses a pump to pump the fluid and maintain hydraulic pressure, so if the pump is broken or leaking the transmission will not shift. The fluid passages can also become clogged and cause loss of pressure. Many new vehicles use electronic solenoids to assist with shifting, and if the wiring harness or vehicle's computer stops working correctly, the transmission will not shift. In either case, you should take the vehicle to reputable transmission repair facility, where they can properly diagnose the cause of your issue.
The second gear clutch is worn out and the metal to metal contact is causing a rough shift If this is correct the transmission is going to die soon.
Is the rear derailleur hanger bent on your bike, leading to shifting problems?
If you accidentally pour a small amount of water into the transmission, it can lead to contamination of the transmission fluid, potentially causing shifting issues and damage to internal components. Water can cause rust and corrosion, impair lubrication, and reduce the efficiency of the transmission. It's important to address this issue promptly by draining and replacing the contaminated fluid to prevent further damage.
