First of all make sure that all 4 tires are the exact same size. I had the same on the front and 2 on the back the same but different than the front. I was told by a mechanic that that would be fine.......WRONG!! I ended up having to change the driver side hub. There is a connector with the hub that is a sensor that takes care of the abs and awd. That is likely why you are getting the signal.
I have the same problem and I have all the same size tires. When we hooked it up to the little mechine thing it gave us a code of "U1301" That is why I am here to find out what "U1301" means. Does any one know?how to disconnect alarm in a 2000 pontiac grand am se
You have to get an aftermarket chip
To disable the theft system on a 1998 Pontiac Grand Am, you can try using the key in the driver's door to unlock it, as this can sometimes reset the system. If that doesn't work, you can disconnect the battery for about 10-15 minutes and reconnect it to reset the system. If the problem persists, it may be necessary to consult a professional or refer to the vehicle's service manual for further troubleshooting.
By wearing your seat belt.
unhook
Do you need to disable the airbags for a maintenance procedure, or are you trying to disable them permanently? I certainly would not recommend disabling them permanently. Your airbags are among the most effective safety items in the car.
You'll have to get a tuner to disable it through the computer. If your talking with a remote start, you can bypass it with a "passlock" which can be found at car alarm shops
You buy what is called a Performance Chip. These range from 250-500.
No, it is hardwired into the ecm and the rest of the car.
It is certainly possible to disable certain internet websites. You can sometimes do this in the settings of your router.
Someone documented this process. See: http://www.dalenet.com/matrixvibe/
