93 F150 with the IFS front axle and 6 inches of lift how would you swap out to a solid front axle and what would you need?
late 70's front axle some 3/4 thick wall tubing I'm getting ready to do the same thing I have a96 with 6" suspension 3" body http://soderblom.net/bronco/tech/D44solid/ this guy lays it all out if your plannig on spending alot but I found this thick wall tubing locally and I'm planning to build my own 4-link setup reinforcing the frame of course but this same tubing is used for the steering arms you have to drill the pitman arm and steering knuckles to 3/4 using high grade bolts your lift springs will work with the axle also you will need to add a track bar which you can make also with thick wall tubing taking 3/4 heim joints and tapping them http://performanceunlimited.com/ these people sell the steering kit
