Where is the EEC connections for a code reader on a 1995 Mercury Cougar? Is there any suggestions why the engine won't turn over. Only a ticking sound is heard and sparks from the battery sometimes appears when trying to start.
this is an easy fix. the problem is the iacv. just ask for that part at dealer change it out and the problem is fix.
dont know the fix, but the lights on my 2000 cougar do the same thing...
Its a dealer code, transmission related. Take it to your dealer for professional diagnosis. just had it done dude it is the torque converter look up the code p1744 and it will tell u
I had the same problem in my 1999 Mercury Cougar, I replaced the flasher located in the blinker assembly. It was very simple to do. Flasher cost about $10
Ebay, http://www.nextag.com/mercury-cougar-headlights/search-html, or just drive to your ford/mercury dealer.
Bears, grizzly bears, wolf packs and jaguars will sometimes kill a cougar.
Dealer or a salvage yard.
It's a dealer only part. I just went through this, and it's about $250/pair for a 2000 Cougar. Good luck!
A woman older than a cougar is sometimes humorously referred to as a sabertooth.
there is no reset for the abs, it does self diagnostics at startup and will stay lit until it ceases to detect a problem. chekc your fuses sometimes this will trip the light
There are two Firm Suggestions currently; OS X Saber tooth or OS X Cougar
