If the fuses check good it is probably low on freon. If that is the case you have a leak somewhere. Take it to a shop that does a/c work.
$400 to $600 depending if it has ac or not.
Maybe your cooling system needs to be flushed out.
It would have a 195 degree thermostat installed so take it from there.
You may have a leak in the system, check that out.
You may need to recharge the cooling chemical in your unit.

There is not a cabin AC filter on a 2000 Chevy Cargo Van 2500. None of the full size Chevy vans have a cabin filter.
check your presure in your a/c system. The low presure sensor can be bypassed to check your compressor and clutch. take the sensor off your a/c line and bypass it with a paper clip.
AC System probably needs refrigerant added.
