It's possible you have a bent valve cover. It's fairly typical for them to bend down and taper in at the bolt hole. Then it never does put the right amount of pressure on the rest of the gasket. Try a set of valve cover hold down brackets. Also check to make sure there are no other dents or perfections in the cover. Check the lip on the head also. I've seen some that looked like they were hit with a hammer and had dents in them. Another rare problem I've seen is a crack in the lip.....usually at the bolt hole. Sounds ridiculous, but I've also seen people not get the wiring out of the way when installing them and will have some wiring running through them causing a leak.
Drive it for a bit if it doesn't get better have a compression test done to see if you have bad ring or valves.
too much oil check level It could depends on what color the smoke is. If it is white smoke, water is leaking into the engine, If the smoke is black oil is leaking in your engine and you may want to check gaskets and seals.
It's difficult to say, without seeing where under the hood it's coming from. You could have a bad exhaust manifold gasket, leaking exhaust. You could have valve cover gaskets leaking or seeping oil, which would drain onto the hot exhaust manifold, and burn off... If you can provide more information on where the smoke is coming from, there may be a better answer.
smoking,beer,gymasim and many many things
It depends on if you see the antifreeze leaking or it is just disappearing. If it is just disappearing then a bad head gasket or cracked head may be the problem. The smoking could actually be vaporized antifreeze. If that is the case don't run it until you can get it fixed.
Yes, if it is leaking or if when it was replaced, oil leaked onto the exhaust or exhaust manifold.
yes, if the trans fluid is hitting the exhaust, but not out of the pipes coming from the outside of the pipes.
Replace the valve stems inserts, this should take care of your smoking problems
No, the health issue was before, that's WHY they banned smoking. At that time i worked on air conditioners in passenger aircraft - you wouldn't believe all the tar that collected on blades and surfaces in them when smoking was allowed.
Radiator cap could be lose or wrong size
You're Leaking Gas into your oil
Most people are saying that the "high mileage" oils are better for protecting gaskets and seals in your engine. However most recommend only using it if you've noticed soot or dark smoking coming out your exhaust. If the exhaust is clean and you're properly changing your oil regular oil should be fine.
