Don't you have air flow positioner set to the right end position (windshield)? If yes, change the air flow direction to e.g.: legs.
Second thing might be broken electromagnetic air conditioner compressor clutch. Not sure if it can be stuck in latched position without connected voltage -> there might be voltage always connected. Find compressor / clutch and disconnect connector which supply clutch with electricity.

The dims lights may not work on a Ford Focus if the switch is defective, the wiring is damaged, or the bulb has burnt out. If both bulbs are out, it is most likely within the wiring.
The brake light switch might not be connected properly. Remove the brake light switch for 10 seconds and replace it to its original position.
