I have a 2000 Malibu and I like it. it is good on fuel being a v6, it only has 79,200 miles on it. that depends on how it is driven as to how car will last! or how it is maintained. a lot of people say that the malibus are a pain but, do they take care of them. if you drive them normal and not horse them they are fine. mine i have had for almost 5 years and have replaced the intake gaskets myself and did my own normal maint. very few repairs.
