Had to research what a fleetside was and came across this, leaving my answer for anyone else that came across this question. It's near impossible to find a definition of fleetside, but I did find this sentence in a wikipedia article at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_C/K. ' C/K trucks were available in smooth "Fleetside" or fendered "Stepside"' That at least tells me what fleetside means. To answer this question specifically the article later mentions that all trucks from 1988-1999 were made on the same platform. That usually means most if not all parts are interchangable. Without actually having tried to swap them out I can't be sure, but I would give you a 95% chance of yes, they can be swapped out.
