1500 is a 1/4 ton, 2500 is a 1/2 ton.
it fits a 2000 suburban 2500. an 01/02 suburban 2500 v8 vortec... and a 00-02 suburban 1500. ur napa store can answer ur questions too
1500 is 31 gallon and 2500 is 39 gallon
I am not sure about a 2500 but on a 1500 it is on the firewall almost directly above the distributor.
It usually says it on the side door panel or you can tell by how many lugs it has usually a 1500 has 6 legs while a 2500 has a couple more
NO. The wireing harness and computer in the 1500 won't hook up to the 2500 transmission. You must put the 4L60E back in it.
1500 has a 32.5 Gallon Tank 2500 has a 38.5 gallon Tank.
