Did you try switching out the bulb's socket? On my 2002 durango, it was a simple fix. (Bulb change didn't do it.) I got a new bulb socket from our local parts store, screwed the old one out, and the new one in, with a new bulb, and she fired right up. Well, almost. I had to fiddle a little, to screw in in just right to make good contact. Cost about five or ten bucks.
