Check to see if there is a label inside your fuel filler door indicating that it is a FFV - flexible fuel vehicle, or check your VIN. If the 8th "character" of the VIN is a "K" , that indicates that you have a FFV engine and can use up to 85 % ethanol (E - 85) Otherwise you use regular unleaded fuel which can contain up to 10 % ethanol as long as it meets the 87 octane requirement.
The 2002 Ford Explorer runs on flex-fuel (unleaded/E85).
If your 2005 Ford Explorer 4.0 liter V6 is a Flexible Fuel Vehicle ( FFV ) You can tell by opening the gas filler door and there will be a sticker or if you look at the VIN and the 8th " character " is a " K " ( instead of an " E " ) then you have the flexible fuel vehicle version and can use ethanol fuel
I believe the Explorer does NOT use a timing belt, but rather a timing chain
regular unleaded - 87 octane
According to the 2002 Ford Explorer Owner Guide : The LOW BEAM headlights take bulb ( # 9006 ) Also , the HIGH BEAMS use # 9005

According to the 2002 Ford Explorer Owner Guide : For the 4.0 liter Single Over Head Cam , V6 engine ( 5W-30 ) For the 4.6 liter V8 engine ( 5W-20 )
No. they are different.
According to the 2002 Ford Explorer owners manual ( 5 w 20 ) is used in the 4.6 L - V8
On a 1996 Ford Explorer : ( r134a )
the engine in a 84 ford laser is not ethanol compatible & will run like a sack of crap if you use fuel that contains any ethanol
