This is possible
But it is about the same difficulty as 1500 hp Helicopter Turbo shaft engine. (Saw One!)
The engine bay is wide and deep enough but not long enough. So big modifications!
Stay with the 4.3 is my advice. There is some cheap hot rod stuff available.
Yes.
You can put it in anything,If you know what you are doing.
the block & heads are the same you just have to pull the 305 out & put the 350 back in
A V8 engine is put in a Chevy Astro van by removing the existing engine and removing all unused accessories. The engine can then be put into place, bolted to the transmission, and everything hooked up.
Yes, but the exhaust Y pipe from the 305 may not fit the 350.
5.0 305 Small Block Was Standard On These.
Put the serpentine belt on to the pulleys of your 1994 Chevy engine. Tighten a serpentine belt with the tensioner pulley.
Remove the cylinder had from your 1997 Chevy Astro engine. Remove the head gasket and clean the surface. Put the new head gasket on and reverse the process.
The 350 and the 305 is a direct swap, The only thing that is different with the 305 is the size of the pistions, They are smaller then the 350 engine. Just transfur the intake and all the other parts from the 305 and put it all on the 350 engine. Easy job.
The 305 was an option on that car, so a 350 should be a bolt-in.
with adapters you could but it would probably lack performance and efficiency.
yes it will fit, 262-400ci chevy smallblock manifolds are interchangeable.
