Yes you can. There are many things you need to do to compensate for it. The compression ration of the GT is 9.4:1, whilest the GTP is 8.1:1. You need lower compression pistons to handle the boost. ZZPerformance.com, and 3800performance.com actually sell kits that give you everything you need in order to apply the supercharger to your N/A 3800, including the Eaton M90 Roots Type Blower.
