No. Here's some info of what the numbers mean on your tire's sidewall;
P215/70 R16 for example...
"P" means "Passenger" class tire, others might read "LT" for "Light Truck".
The 215 is the width of the tread in millimeters...25.4mm per inch so your tread is about 8.6 inches wide. I'm not too great visualizing with metric...
The 70 is an Aspect Ratio...basically its a percentage comparing the height of your sidewall to the width of the tread...so the sidewall height is 70% of the tread width...so about 6 inches in this case.
The "R" stands for "Radial" tire. Most cars anymore have radials...has to do with the construction with the steel belts within the tire...but I digress.
Finally the last number, "16" here, is the diameter wheel the tire is made to fit, and there really is no "wiggle-room" or "making-it-fit" in this area.
NO, the rim sizes are different, you can NOT fit a 15" tire on a 16" rim.
15 inch tires will not fit on 16 inch rims.15 inch tires will not fit on 16 inch rims.
That depends on if the 15 inch rims will fit over the brake calipers.

No. It is very dangerous to attempt to put the wrong tires on a rim.
The 205/70/r15 is 26.3 inches tall. The 215/65/r16 is 27 inches tall. Never mix different size tires on different rims.

The rim size must match the tires unless you also change the rims to match the tires.
Probably but it will mess up the ABS calibration and no telling what else. Stick with what came on the car.
r16 is one inch taller from the center of the wheel
Yes, that's possible
A 225 75R 16 tire will fit on a 245 75R 16 rim. The only difference between the tires is the height of the sidewall.
