As far as i know there is no 1985 Plymouth Laser... There is actually a 1985 Laser but was manufactured by Chrysler(at the time). The only thing is,that year was only produced in a 2.2L Turbo and Non-Turbo.

If its anything like my 88 lebaron convertible on the inside your going to have to take out the trim on the floor by the door and then take off the whole side panel in the back seat...a pain!
It accessable from below, under the car or from above to the rear of the engine head. Get a Haynes or Chilton manual for you make.
It should be built in the alternator. Ask auto parts.
That is the same as the check engine light. You will need to have the system checked for codes to know possible causes.
