You can get a copy from any hardware store but it will only open the doors and trunk. If you want one that will start the car, you need to get it from a dealer, pretty expensive.

Does a 2000 Ford Focus SE have a transponder key?

The 2000 Ford Focus SE typically does not come with a transponder key. Most models from that year were equipped with standard ignition keys without embedded chips. However, some later models and specific trims may have offered transponder keys. It's best to check the owner's manual or consult a Ford dealership for confirmation based on the specific vehicle.
