the first thing you should do is take the truck to your local tire shop and have your tires balanced. while on the balancer look at the tire to make sure it is round. the bump may have bent the wheel or broken a belt in the tire it self. the tire shop will also check the front end You have worn suspension or steering parts. Inspect them ASAP. You may have bent a wheel rim. That happen a lot on 94-02 It is called the Dodge Death Wobble This is the first I have heard of on a 1st gen. The king pins are probably wore out. Maybe a tie rod is bad. This happened on my 1997 3500 Dodge Cummins and a tie rod had quite a bit of play in it. Had it replaced and had no more of that.
