Mercon automatic transmission fluid.
The 1989 Ford Mustang GT came with a T-5 five-speed manual or an optional automatic transmission
The short answer is yes. Both the 1989 and 1990 models use the RS5F50A manual or RE4F02A automatic transmission.
Bought a used '90 Probe; a dealer repair involved adding transmission oil through the fitting that houses the speedometer cable. On the '90, that was seized; a replacement part was available only from Mazda. (The '90 has a Mazda 5 speed manual transmission.)
Either a 4-speed manual or a 3-speed automatic
700R4 if it's an automatic, NV3500 if it's a manual.
Around 750 rpms on an automatic and 650 on a manual transmission.
If it is a 3 speed automatic it is TH125/TH125C/3T40 If it is a Manual it is a Getrag F23
If it's automatic, through the dipstick hole & if it's manual, special bolt on transmission. (close to the drive shaft)
