yes as long as it is not the 350C lock up convertor and have or need the right stall for your needs.
Every reputable converter manufacturer will provide that information free of charge. I would not use a TH350 behind that big block. TH400 is a must.
just about any Chevy trans, a TH350 or a TH400 are the most common and will both fit. as far as engines and transmissions with Chevy's there just about all interchangeable without to much messing around. only difference with a TH350 to a TH400 is that a 400 will take higher horsepower/torque. but for most stock applications a TH350 will be fine , oh and the TH400's are slightly longer to.
Consult with the torque converter manufacturer of your choice.
Put tranny up then install the torque converter to tranny first , NOTE : Make sure when installing the torque converter to the tranny that you can only slide your middle finger in bettween the tranny and torque converter , if the torque converter is not all the way in, the torque converter will tare up the tranny shaft.

about ten or eleven liters -Never put a dry converter into a transmission, fill it 1/2 full of fluid, about 3 to 4 litres or quarts, then once the transmission is in, put 4 liters in, run the engine and this will fill the converter fully. With engine running, fill to the "warm" position on the dipstick, take the car for a 10 minute drive and top up the level (with engine running) to the "hot" mark.
Could be a problem with your torque converter
The transmission with the stock passegger car pan takes 6 quarts. If you are using a factory steel pan add 2 more for a total of 8. The torque converter will take 5 for a stock 13 incch converter. Be sure to put a quart in the converter before installion. Typical performance converters will, because they are smaller, take less. A 10 or 11 inch converter will take approx. 3 qts.
If the torque converter is loose it can do alot of damage to the transmission too. My ex- had to replace the transmission because the bolts were not put in correctly when someone else had changed something out. He had to put in a new transmission and torque converter. If it is running too rough you may have to change it all out. Check the bolts first to make sure everything is tight. If it is then you'll probably need new trany and torque converter.

Either the solenoid pack or most likely the torque converter itself.
