Vehicle will run without a thermostat - however will not run as efficiently and will have not heat
NO,never good to run any car without a thermostat will ruin your engine
No. No modern engine (and by modern, I mean any of the computer-controlled engines in use since for the last couple of decades) should be run without a thermostat. The computer senses many different conditions, one of them being coolant temperature, and the engine will not run at its proper efficiency if the coolant temperature is not being properly regulated.

No you cant it would not work with out it.... sorry
It would, but it is not a good idea.
A thermostat is used to keep the engine set at a specific temperature. A Honda Accord can run without one in specific environments where the weather is normally hot.
Yes, you can technically run a 2001 Malibu without a thermostat, but it is not advisable. The thermostat regulates engine temperature, and without it, the engine may run too cool, leading to inefficient fuel combustion and increased emissions. Additionally, running without a thermostat can cause the engine to take longer to reach optimal operating temperature, which may result in performance issues and potential engine damage over time.
An Accord will run without a thermostat. But, it will not operate properly. The heat, fuel/air mixture, even the mileage depend on the thermostat keeping the engine in the correct temperature range.

My 1995 Ford Explorer was running cooler on the temperature gauge and it turned out to be my thermostat
